{"id":5509,"date":"2024-11-05T11:20:14","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T11:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nwf.jfn.ac.lk\/?page_id=5509"},"modified":"2024-12-02T10:47:33","modified_gmt":"2024-12-02T10:47:33","slug":"report","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nwf.jfn.ac.lk\/index.php\/publications\/report\/","title":{"rendered":"Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASPAR Impact Report&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nallur Kandasamy Temple Festival, Northern Sri Lanka\u2019s largest cultural event, provided an ideal opportunity for WASPAR to raise awareness about groundwater conservation.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Groundwater Conservation Awareness Stall, organized by the WASPAR and the Young Water Professionals of Northern Sri Lanka in collaboration with other stakeholders, featured interactive exhibits, posters, educational materials, quiz competitions, and dialogue forums.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Campaign emphasized the significance of groundwater, the challenges it faces, and the importance of sustainable management to address critical knowledge gaps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Chief Secretary of the Province, Mr. Elankovan declared the Campaign and Exhibition open, with the Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Raguram, representing the University of Jaffna.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Provincial Director of Irrigation, Eng. N.
